“My people are destroyed because of a lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6).
“It takes a village” is a popular African proverb. It embraces the premise that every member in the village has a personal responsibility to see that each child gets what he or she needs to become a well-rounded individual. This concept should extend to every community that children inhabit, regardless of race, creed, ethnicity or socioeconomic status.
This is a superb account of a Spirit filled Christian woman that has responded to her call and responsibility as a member of the village. She exposes the elusive tactics of the enemy; the enemy who ultimately sets traps that destroy the very fabric of the village, causing it to rip into many pieces and allowing the precious contents to fall into a dangerous abyss from which some never recover. Some of the traps include unwanted pregnancies, abortions, neglected and abused children, and sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV/ AIDS. The tree to life experience and biblical solutions act as needful thread and patch work needed to sew together the rips that must be repaired in order to save our village and the souls of its people. Knowledge is power and this is a knowledge-filled and easy to read book, both for learning and living. God Bless you as you read and study. May you find your avenue of responsibility in the village.
