I wrote this book for my father, Giovanni Rivalta, an Italian patriot that served his country in the Italian Air Force. My mother, Eleanora Raggi was born in New York an American citizen. At birth I became an American citizen because of my mother.

I came to America at the young age of 18.

I tried to follow the historic documents. I would like the people of Italy not to forget the sacrifices that so many Italians made to make Italy united. I have two heroes that I would like to mention, George Washington for the United States of America and Giuseppe Garibaldi for Italy and what they both did for humanity and freedom. Today the United States and Italy are both republics dedicated to liberty and freedom for all. The American Italian fought in every war the United States had. They have more medals of honors than any other ethnic group. The Roman Italian created the greatest empire that ever existed based on law and order like the United States is like today.
