D E D I C A T I O N
This book is dedicated to the many people who have experienced turbulence in their lives for one reason or another, and need some encouragement. We suffer many disappointments in our lives -- all of us; however, disappointments have a way of lending you some benefits. Sorrows oftentimes lay foundations of success.
In this story Abbey felt as though the weight of the world was now on her shoulders to the point that she felt that the sun would never shine again -- not true. The rain will continue to fall, and the sun will continue to shine. Regardless as to what sorrows we endure, we must not allow our problems to render us powerless.
Abbey encountered insurmountable problems after the death of her husband, Matt. However, further along in this book, you will enjoy reading about unprecedented comedy that is hilarious in every form of the word, that will make you forget about her sadness. Abbey was a widow that faced many challenges in her life. She hopes that this book will give you a very different perspective about life in general. The variables in life continue to “baffle” each and every one of us.
Remember the old clichés, “You never miss your water “til the well runs dry”; and “Every cloud has a “silver lining” -- it does, and Abbey honestly proved that it really does.
A VERY SPECIAL THANKS
I would like to extend my thanks to those of you who helped and supported me in one way or another in my “wingless” existence. You were a “prop” anchored under my arms that lifted me and kept me from drifting into a feeling of oblivious being. You pushed me to just be myself, and for once in my life, to just strive for the goals that I was unable to reach before.
Regardless of all the adversities, I need to say that, I have been blessed beyond measure. I owe a lot of gratitude to those of you who have continually stayed in touch with me. Your show of love keeps me happy and still smiling, and therefore I have been able to move on as a widow without my absent best friend. Because of THE DIVINE HIM I can face tomorrow, and because of you, I feel relieved of much stress and have regained the happiness in my life. For this I say, “Thank you.”
