Jim Wilson, a multi-millionaire wants to purchase sufficient property to have facilities for young children from cities. Hutchinson a real estate agent states the vacant Willis Ranch north of Daytona Beach might be suitable. The government believes there has been illegal activities at the ranch, but have no evidence to support their thinking, the realtor mentioned. They will give you a new name and ask you live at the ranch, and investigate ranch property and island for clues whats been done. Later, the new name of Jules Mathews lives at the ranch. He boats across Pigeon Lake to purchase supplies at the Village and meets their school teacher, Carol Thomas and her young son, Mitch. Back at the ranch he discovers a hidden landing strip with light poles. A former caretaker arrives and assists Jules investigate the island. They find two artificial tree stumps and see bubbles in water at end of island.
Business owners of the Village state lots of activity at night on island two years ago. Jules obtains snorkeling gear at Nicks Shack in Village and dives at spot where hes seen bubbles. Water is too deep to reach bottom of lake but from a distance he sees two skeletons and a long building looking like a barn. He wonders why the barn at bottom of lake?
Later, government agents arrive at ranch to verify Jules reports; their diver with air tank dives, and brings up skeletons, finds both skulls have bullet holes. Agents help fight-off smugglers who try to bring drugs into Florida.
After smugglers are captured, Pete Clark officer of Village, brings Carol and Mitch in a speedy cruiser to ranch. Mitch is pretty sure hes going to have a new Dad.
