No greater Gift has God provided for the believer than the Holy Spirit. The Gift of the Holy Spirit is absolute and forever. This is the One Gift necessary for entrance into heaven. The lavishness of Gods generosity, is in this most precious of all divine Gifts to He believing children. There is no other way of knowing the breath and length and height and depth, of Gods love in Christ, than as it is poured out within our hearts, in the Person of the Holy Spirit. This generous divine Gift of His Spirit, is given by God the Father, to supply all the necessities of His believing children in this world. Sometimes we tremble before the proffered Gift. We shrink from stretching forth our hands to grasps this divine Gift saying, I am not worthy; it is too much for me. But Jesus, with His nail-pierced hands, stained with the blood that purchased the Gift for us, presses the Gift into our hands, saying, Take the Gift! The Holy Spirit is not too much for Me to give. We only need to consent to receive the Holy Spirit now, in His fullness. There need be no struggling, no waiting, no agonizing. Just abandon your self to Him. Let Him fill you, possess you, like breathing deep of celestial air. And He breathed on them and said, Take ye the Holy Spirit. Let us look up into the face of the Savior and say, Oh Blessed Lord Jesus, unworthy as I am, I take Your Gift. The Fathers Gift of His Holy Spirit is then ours forever, simply by receiving Jesus Christ His Son in believing faith into out hearts. When we accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and thereby have our sin forgiven and pardoned, we receive our salvation and eternal life, and at the very same moment, we are born-again by His divine Holy Spirits indwelling us forever.
