Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin


Overview: Help Buzz Lightyear defend Earths supply of batteries from the Evil Emperor Zurg by using laser guns to blast invaders. Two person, spinning vehicles slowly maneuver through glow in the dark rooms where guests hit as many targets as possible and rack up points which are displayed on a monitor inside your vehicle. This video game-like ride is addictive as you constantly try to beat your previous score!

Be Aware of: Guests enter and exit vehicles from a moving walkway. The vehicles start to spin on their own at the beginning of the ride but can soon be controlled by the driver. There are bright, flashing lights at the end of the attraction.


Helpful Hints: Hold down your laser trigger throughout the entire ride and swing it back and forth to win as many points as possible. In the first room, shoot the back of the orange robots arm or the back of the buzz saw to get 100,000 points.

Parent/Guardian Switch option is available.


Disabled Access: Guests must transfer from a motorized scooter to an available wheelchair. Guests may remain in their wheelchair. Disneys handheld captioning devices interact with this attraction.

Look For: Check out the batteries on the wall that are facing you when you enter the inside queue line. They are inscribed Made in Glendale California which is the real home of Walt Disney Imagineering which creates Disney attractions.


Hidden Mickey Hunt: In the inside queue line you will see two maps of planets. Look for the planet Pollost Prime, which looks similar to Earth. The largest continent on the planet is actually a Mickey Mouse profile facing right.


Scavenger Hunt: In the queue line, find: a Magic Eight Ball, a View-Master, the planet Chokmil, a square planet, the Planet Z and Sector 9.
