Identical twin sisters are named Genia Lynn and Jean Lynn. J Lynn meets David Ezra and spends three weeks with him before he goes on a mission to Kwara for a year. While he is gone she gives birth to twins, a boy and girl, in her sisters name. When a year passes and David does not return she informs G Lynn she is going to find David and leaves documents that merge her complete identity into Lynns.
David is wounded when his mission team is attacked by bandits. He dies after trusting his friend, Trade Hunter to find Lynn and take care of her. Marry her, if she will was his dying words.
Trade finds Lynn, who cannot prove she was never married to David and did not give birth to the twins. He is shocked when he discovers the children and refuses to believe Lynns bizarre story.
Samuel develops an illness that causes a search into the background of all male children born into the Ezra and Trust family. When all resources fail to produce the source of the illness the sealed documents J Lynn left reveals the gene came from the girls mothers family. A formula is given for the medication to treat Samuels illness.
Trade has an assignment that sends him away before he was able to believe Lynn was not Davids wife or mother of Davids children. J Lynns papers gave the truth and her reasons for burring her identity in her sister.
Trade finds his love for Lynn and his faith in God overcomes his doubts and lack of trust.
