CAN YOU IMAGINE ?

Living in the modern world it is easy to forget what things were like. Can you imagine a world without plastics, or zippers, or ball point pens? Before 1920 (when I was 7) we lived in a world without these essentials. Not that they did not exist somewhere, just that we didnt have them. We had no electricity, thus no electric lights, no radio, surely no television. To heat our houses we had wood or coal furnaces,-sometimes large pot bellied stoves in the living room.
