My Spirit of Hope Prayer

Dear God, help my teacher/parent to know;
If you teach me, I can learn.
If you love me, I will thrive.
If you respect me, I can become.
If you can just see me as a little person with big
Feelings just like you, I can stand tall and proud.
Please honor my individuality, forgive my messes
And mistakes, and know what? I might become the
Next President of the United States.

Lean a little closer so I can whisper in your ear:
There is one more important thing. If you suspect someone is hurting me, please HELP! If you dont like the color of my skin
Please talk to another grownup about it. You see, I have no
Power but you do. PLEASE SEE ME! See through my eyes.
At one time I was you. My wish upon a star is you will
Remember kids need 10-12 good touches or kind words everyday to thrive. We need you to catch us doing stuff right often. Know what? I will be a child for such a little while and I depend on you to be my guiding light when I am in your care.

Who am I? Im your student/child/grandchild and my name is _____________________________. Right where I
Stand Im important, unique and I have potential. How do I know? Creator God does not make junk.

P.S. One last favor please. When we are teenagers 13-19 we can be a challenge. Please grant extra patience to grownups as we need their patience and guidance the most in these years.
