Abstract:
Witch Hunts were responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths, a number virtually unparalleled in religious history. But, how many of the accused were actually guilty? What if the real witches were the witch hunters and torturers? That question is answered in this tale of a modern day witch hunter who stalks and tortures innocent victims, demanding that they name his next victim, before he finally kills them. Detective Chris Stevens heads a task force formed by the Governor to bring the Charcoal Killer to justice. What they didn’t count on is how strong the power of evil can be.
