Biography:
Kazumi Tabata is a GrandMaster in the Shotokan and Shorinji styles of Karate. In the 1960s, he was sent to the United States to promote Karate by his teacher Isao Obata (senior student of Gichin Funakosi). Master Tabata established the North American Karate Federation (NAKF; consisting of schools throughout the United States, Bermuda and Europe) and the New England Collegiate Karate Conference. Over the years, Master Tabata has had a wide impact on the martial arts, including authoring several books including “Secret Tactics” and “Mind Power.” For more information, visit www. NAKF.org
