A three-sport collegiate athlete at Arcadia University, Mary was a member of the US Lacrosse Squad for three years and served as a US Squad coach and US Lacrosse Selector. In 1998 she was inducted into the New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame and Arcadia’s Hall of Fame in 2011. She coached both field hockey and lacrosse at Rowan University as well as Eastern Regional High School.
In 1993 she wrote her first book, On Attack, an analysis of the game of lacrosse from the attacker’s point of view. She switched to the writing of fiction after her retirement from Rowan in 2007.
