Biography:
Warren Reiten was born and raised in east-central North Dakota. As a youth his interests were history, horses, and baseball. He attended the University of North Dakota, graduating in business/journalism, with a ROTC commission in the U.S. Army, with post graduate studies in law and business. He served two years as a First Lieutenant in the Army, including one year with the 2nd Infantry Division. Warren returned to North Dakota to work as a Tribal employee for the Spirit Lake Sioux Tribe. Later he entered business for himself in real estate development, publishing, and other ventures. His passion has always been history and writing.
