M. S. “Max” Hunter, after earlier careers as a lawyer in Boston, Washington, and St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., and as a restaurateur in Barbados, now makes his home on an obscure Caribbean island. The stories and novels he writes reflect his experiences during many years of life and adventure in the West Indies. He lives with his sister and her dogs atop a hill with spectacular views of green jungle-clad mountains and the sparkling blue Caribbean.
