Abstract:
The main purpose of “A Simple Guide to Understanding Internet Threats and Taking Common Sense Actions” is to provide readers with information that is accurate and will help guide a decision-making process based on education and understanding of cyber threats as opposed to knee-jerk reactions that are so popular in the press today. This short book was written to help educate non-technical and aging computer users to understand and appreciate the growing complexity of Internet threats seen today. Additionally, we provide a reliable means of identifying and correctly responding to symptoms presented to users by malware of all types.
