Every vote counts. The future of the entire free world could ride on one vote—that of a new U.S. Senator from Florida.

Sex, scandal, international intrigue, and murder rock an important national senate race. When incumbent Republican Brad Silver dies in a mysterious plane crash, the campaign goes from hectic to just plain weird. Brad’s beautiful Hispanic wife Eleana gets plugged in for the Republicans, and a hard-living former Governor dukes it out with alcoholic former state senator Joel Orr for the Democrats. Control of power in Congress hinges on the election. Who, or what, really controls the outcome?

Reviewer: Midwest Book Review
Political power often turns into a race between the lesser evils, and lesser evil is occassionally hard to divine. "Accidental Ambition" tells the story when a Republican Senator dies in a non-clear cut plane crash and the senate is thrown into disarray. A beautiful woman without experience is placed against the unsavory characters on the other side of the coin, as the nation looks on, as the seat determines the power of the senate. "Accidental Ambition" is an exciting political thriller full of scandal, highly recommended.

New Political Thriller About Election of Florida Senator , 10/29/2010
Reviewer: Tallahassee Magazine
He's a former state senator who wrote a well-received recounting of the heyday of Florida politics. She's a storyteller whose novels are steeped in the South. Both live in Tallahassee and together, they've created a political thriller with a little sex, lots of scandal, a pinch of international intrigue--and murder.
