Learning to be a Healer was supposed to be a fun, but challenging task for young Artel. Little did he know that to be a Healer was to be a person of great magic. When tragedy strikes Artel and his family, he is thrust into a journey to save Eylliselvris with the help of his new found abilities. Artel will travel to places he has never gone, seeing things he has never seen, and meeting people and creatures he has never met before. Betrayal, deceit, and evil stand in his way. The fate of the world lies in his hands.

I liked this book because it gives me a good view of how all the places and people are with all the details. I hope you write more books like this. These books always remind me of the Cronicals Of Narnia. GOOD LUCK WITH THE SECOND ONE!

This book is a winner written by a winner. At first, I was not a fan of fantasy books, movies or the like, but after reading Quest I now understand why so many people love this stuff.

A great fantasy for ALL ages! , 06/15/2008
Reviewer: Katherine
This book is a wonderfully descriptive tale that appeals to all ages, young and old. It is a story of a fanstastic land filled with beings of amazing powers. It has magic, dragons, dwarves, elves, and fighting. It brings all readers into a new world and enfolds them in action. Overall, a very well put together story that draws every reader from one page to the next through a very compelling tale of survival. Its characters are unique and throughout the main character, Artel, not only shows strength and wisdom, but also demonstrates the difficult path that we all follow, the path of growing up. Artel forges through emotional losses, physical pains, and overall struggles which ultimately draw the reader further into the world of Eylliselvris. I would recommend this book to any lover of fantasy. It is a great read, with a wonderful blend of unique characters in a fresh new tale.

I read this book expecting greatness, and unfortunately it disappoints on so many levels. It was clearly written by an amateur, has poor plot development and is overall uninteresting. Continue browsing if you want a good read!
