Abstract:
Thomas Browning is the world’s most popular horror writer. When his mother is killed in a car accident caused by his drunk-driving father, Thomas’s life is thrown into chaos. Thomas’s father, a high school physics teacher, claims to have had a ‘vision from God’ that foretold the accident, which he ignored. Thomas refuses to believe that his father (or anyone, for that matter) can see the future—but when things from his fiction begin to happen in his hometown of Mason, Colorado, he has to wonder—has he inherited a special ability or is it just an elaborate hoax?
