Abstract:
Personal encounters with sensitive African tribal people are presented in story-form from when the authors ministered in Africa. Humorous and touching narratives reveal the unusual culture and reaction of the people. The thread of family life and adjustments to African culture depict the lives of missionaries serving for thirty-six years on the continent. Descriptions of fascinating customs and beliefs keep the reader’s interest, as well as the narratives of responses to the presentation of the Gospel. Positive reactions of transformed hearts enhance the reader’s assurance of the effectiveness of missions in today’s world.
