Virgil G. Svendsen is a professional engineer of 28 years, and this is the first book he has authored. He has worked in Children’s Ministry and Boy Scouts of America for almost 20 years and is a Viet-nam veteran who enjoys painting landscapes and spending time with his family. He and his wife Barbara have two married sons, Jared and Joey, their wives Sarah and Pricilla and granddaughters, Emma and Caroline. They live in Charleston, South Carolina. He has been a born-again Christian since 1980, and is a survivor of clinical depression. He is a devoted student of the scriptures.
