SSA Agent Jon X was on his way from Buenos Aires to Washington, DC. He was in Buenos Aires as a guest of the Argentina government to attend his friend Renata's wedding to Federico. He was on Gaucho Flight 888A.
Renata is the beautiful Tango dance instructor that Jon rescued from the clutches of the Turkish mobster Ivan Tobji. Federico is the brother of the Argentina President.
SSA Director Filmer's home phone rang. It was his Administrative Assistant. "FAA notified me that Gaucho flight 888A vanished on the radar screens. The plane drifted into the Bermuda triangle, and then vanished."
There was a brief silence. "Is that the plane that Jon X is on?"
"Yes."
Another brief pause. "Keep me posted on any new developments." Filmer said in a shaky voice. "Let's meet first thing in the morning in my office and discuss this matter. It's Jon X. Anyone else I'd say it's a lost cause. It's Jon X, he'll find a way to rescue the flight."
