It’s been said that many of us…

“buy things we don’t need –
with money we don’t have –
to impress people we don’t even like”.

Seventy percent of people in America have credit card or other debt. That includes Christians. Does this mean that only thirty percent of the population lives within their means?

God has planned success for His children, not failure.

Jeremiah 29:11 For know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Could it be part of God’s plan that the children He loves should struggle from paycheck to paycheck? Could it be part of God’s plan that in order for you to meet your obligations you have to spend more than you earn by taking out a monthly loan on a high interest credit card?

That doesn’t sound like future. Or hope.

First, He should be Lord of your life. Then, He will guide you toward putting every area of your life in order. That includes your finances.
