Soul Journey
Do you know what it is to take a soul journey? A journey of your soul? A road to the discovery of self and with that discovery, a divine source? It’s like taking a walk back through your life. It is a pilgrimage to unearth the divine essence of your being.
It seems that everything you were taught, everything you believed and everything you were shown must be dissected and disinfected. You come to realize that trying to keep up with the latest trends, your girlfriends, even boyfriends, is tiring. The labels, the boxes, the fraudulent, fake, phony, artificial and totally unconscious relationships are sucking the life right out of you. Rest is needed, physical rest, emotional rest, mental rest...time to check yourself.
Meditate, free your mind, let go! Sit back, relax, reflect on your past and present actions and ask yourself,
“Where am I going with this?”

I gave my heart to find out
What love was all about
Traveling the high road
Trudging the low
Sometimes I bump my head
Sometimes I stump my toe
But now I know
I had to get off the ride
Stop attempting
Stop committing
Spiritual suicide
I was losing my mind

Every conversation

What is love, what is the definition?
Is it a purpose or is it an extension
To big up, big up another’s spiritual growth?
Could be one or the other
Or could it be both?
Nuff folks will cathect you,
Try to dissect you,

and disrespect you
Just search out God
so they don’t affect you
