Abstract:
The Academic Game: Psychological Strategies for Successfully Completing the Doctorate, is written for early-stage doctoral students. Rather than focus on the nuts and bolts of graduate school, the book describes the psychological and social factors that influence whether or not students successfully complete the doctorate. The mantra is Knowledge = Power, and the book is designed to empower students with the information they need and strategies they can use to complete a rewarding and successful academic journey.
