Abstract:
The word ‘mine’ in the dictionary means a large excavation made in the earth from which to extract ores, gold, gems, and that’s what a “Dude Mine” is – a big hole in the ground. Dude mines charge a small fee to all who dig in them. You’ll never have a more exciting vacation than digging for gold, rubies, diamonds, etc. Kids love playing in mud and water. We never found any really big stones, but did find plenty of small ones from which I made a ring. The people you’ll meet are all happy ‘rockhounds’. And the memories of the excitement at finding gold last a lifetime. As for ghosts…These friendly ghosts won’t hurt you. They might scare you when you first see them. That’s because they’re not ghosts. Actually, they are Zombies. According to the dictionary, a Zombie is a corpse which has been animated by a supernatural power. A ghost is supposedly the disembodied spirit of a dead person appearing as a pale, shadowy apparition. So enjoy their friendship. It’s fun.
