Abstract:
After losing my family in a tragic fire when my was just three years old, I had to grow up fast in a world that scared me. After escaping the grips of my abusive father at the age of thirteen, I was able to grow in to an adult where I learned buried secrets from my late mother’s past. Could I uncover them? Could I find what had been lost so many years before?

Sixteen years, a failed marriage and two children later, I tried one last time find the missing puzzle pieces of my life. This is my story of trials, tribulations and triumphs to discover a new me and a new family.
